SQL Server has designated China as one of its 3 strategic R&D sites world-wide. With offices in both Beijing and Shanghai, the SQL Server China R&D Center is chartered to work on a variety of established core product components as well as driving innovation in new technology areas.

The SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) China team is looking for a Test Lead to build and lead a new Test team for SSIS. The SSIS product is already making great headway in the ETL market, and we have plans to expand it beyond the traditional ETL definition by leveraging “better together” with our partners and the rest of the Microsoft platform. As the Test Lead, you will be responsible for building and running an excellent test team that is focused on key new functional developments for the SSIS product. You will develop test suites for new features as well as adopt or design new kinds of test practices or frameworks. Testing includes functional, UI, performance and stress testing, with a heavy emphasis on test automation. To be successful in this position, you must be able to adapt to and improve software development and QA processes to meet the demands of cross-team collaboration. And you must also have excellent technical and design skills.

Requirements:
4 year+ professional testing experience for a commercial enterprise product (database, operating 5ystem, email server, etc.). Experience must include test automation and performance or stress testing.
3 year+ professional software test management experience
Proficient in C++, C# or Java, and COM
A BS degree or better in Computer Science; Masters degree preferred.
Fluent in English; Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
Experience in one or more of the following preferred but not required: data warehousing, ETL, Data Quality solutions.
