How would you like to spearhead development of next-generation games for the China marketplace. Microsoft Game Studios is looking for a seasoned developer to join our high-powered publishing development team to work on new and exciting titles in China. This position is based in Shanghai and if you have the desire to work on hot projects, enjoy pushing the limits of game technology, and have a passion to help make awesome games, then come and join us!

Your primary responsibility will be working closely with our development partners to help evaluate, review, design, troubleshoot, optimize and develop code for their games.

This position requires 5+ years of experience developing games, including having shipped at least three games. Experience with C++, Win32 and DirectX is essential. MMO client and/or server experience is preferred, as is fluency in Mandarin and intermediate English language skills. A solid educational background with a BS in computer science or equivalent is also required. The ideal candidate would have broad game development knowledge, possess self-direction and initiative, be able to adapt quickly and work comfortably in other people's code, and have good communication skills. Some travel, both foreign and domestic, is expected for this position.
