Are you an experienced SDET looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about shipping high-visibility consumer web products across the world? Are you energized by designing automation framework that’ll be used by many testers? If so, you might be the Senior SDET that we’re looking for. The MSN International product development team is looking for a Senior SDET to help take our Shanghai development team to the next level. Reporting to the Shanghai-based SDET lead, you’ll be a key member of the test team. You will work closely with the SDET lead to design and execute on our test automation strategy, and review test code written by other test team members. You’ll also help raise the technical skills of test team members, and ensure that individuals and teams make the right day to day decisions. You will collaborate closely with Shanghai-based SDET Lead and the London based leadership team on best practices and processes. Driven by quality and customer satisfaction, you will be self-motivated and an excellent problem solver. You will have great cross-group skills, understand the complete end-to-end development process (with a focus on agile practices) and have a proven record of working on a team that has delivered multiple products on schedule. You will have experience delivering high visibility web applications and services, as well as designing and implementing automation framework for web applications used by many testers. You’ll be a leader driving technical innovations in the testing space, with deep technical skills in .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET and XML/XSLT, HTML/DHTML/CSS, SQL Server and multiple browser types & configurations.
