糟糕的地铁UI,第一天上班搭错车的经历

第一天上班,搭错了车,而且一路错到了底
首先是本来上楼乘轻轨,结果下了楼走向了地铁方向
返回来之后,乘坐四号线,应该在上海体育馆下车换一号线,结果做过一了站,到了上海体育场
转到一号线之后,本来应该坐向上海火车站方向,结果坐向了辛庄方向

从头错到了尾,为什么这一切会发生呢,从地铁的指示来说:

1.上楼轻轨,下楼地铁,标志悬在头顶.
最醒目的方法是立一块牌子,标明上下的方向.
考虑到立牌子所占的空间,最简单的方法是把标志明显地标在脚下及台阶上
2.错过了换乘站
如果在地铁里留心的话,当到达延安西路站时,会报站:换乘轨道交通三号线,请在此下车
依此判断,我想到达体育馆的时候,应该也会有报站:换乘轨道交通一号线,请在此下车,但是没有
而且对于初次乘坐的人,体育馆站和体育场站有什么分别?
3.一号线乘错了方向
在指示牌上,我想我会用不同的色系来标明上海火车站和人民广场站方向
错就是完全错了这么一次,第二天以后就习惯了方向.
人是习惯动物,找习惯的方向,做习惯的事情.也许这是一直都没有改进的原因.

但是换个角度说,
就象个人的职业生涯,或许有标记,或许没有,或许标记对,或许标记错,不停地试错,才找到正确方向

simple question: what's the hottest community for programmers domestic?

I got one simple question:

What's the "hottest" programmers' community in China?

Couple of options:
1. MSDN China
2. CSDN
3. cnblogs
4. dev.yesky...
or none of above?

Simple standard for benchmarking "hottest", geeks be there pretty often, programmers with 5+ years visit & participate a lot.

SQL Server expanding, start your journey now!

I'd like start the publishing on what MSFT R&D is reported outside, quoted from "Shanghai Daily" on 2007-6-20.

"The expanded center, located in the Zizhu Industrial Park in southwest Shanghai, is expected to open by the end of next year and will cover about 100,000 square meters. "
What I want to address is: This machine is already running... we are operating there now, will move into new built campus when it's finished.

"China's SQL market leads the world especially in telecommunications, retail and railway sectors," said Prakash Sundaresan, director of Microsoft China R&D Group leading SQL server division.
A clear signal of:we are hiring developing & test guys, which provides excellent exposure & career opportunities, compares with other peers, MSFT invested & going to invest more & more in China.

MICROSOFT Corp will set up an expanded research and development center which will focus on server, data management and Windows Live services.

The expanded center, located in the Zizhu Industrial Park in southwest Shanghai, is expected to open by the end of next year and will cover about 100,000 square meters. Maiden voyage with Microsoft

Today is my first day with Microsfot, Asia Technology Center, as a staffing consultant.
Despite of have to stand paked like sardines, this is a terrible which I have not experienced for 2 years +, :(
the shuttle is fast and arrived earlier than expected.

Takes around 40 mins from Xujiahui to Zizhu park, the return is even faster, like 35 mins.
Hope one day their will be a pick up point at Zhongshan park.

I was guided to my new cubic, received 19 inch Dell LCD, whilte color, cute.
Got my first number: 3.198. Where is Freedo? He's sitting at 3.198. That's my first number got in MSFT. Don't know what will be the latters looks like?
Still waiting for my laptop.

Spoon-feed plenty staffs including some essential documents, got pretty much to read today.
And hopefully first document received is "Microsoft's 2007 annual holiday arrangements". Cooool...

Other than lots of funny things with Microsoft, I'm gotta take a place to post thoughts of technical recruiting and new hiring messages, needs to check out if could got a MSDN space with Chinese character supports.
